Stream Energy

Provided by YP.comI have a residential and commercial account with Stream Energy and things went fine for several months. In March I received a disconnect notice. All money for both accounts had been posted on one account. They couldn't seem to debit one and credit another. Finally straightened it out, but left a past-due charge. The next month they sent a disconnect notice for an account that had been paid. (The check had cleared my account BEFORE the due date). After several phone calls and gosh-awful time on the phone, a supervisor said he would straighten all of this out. Today (6/16/08) I receive my statements and one has a past due charge that I do not owe, the other one has late charges and the last month's check not posted. I would recommend that everyone buy a windmill before signing up with Stream Energy. To top this off, my husband and I are managing directors for Ignite, the marketing arm of Stream. We have ceased trying to sign up customers because of the incompetent accounting practices.

Provided by YP.comIgnite Incorporated, the marketing arm of Stream Energy, is the fastest growing company in American business history--faster than eBay, Google, and Yahoo! Even with the volatility of the energy industry (electricity and natural gas), Stream holds prices to reasonable levels while providing customers with secure service. Founded and based in Dallas, Texas, Stream has recently expanded to Georgia with plans to expand to other states. Electricity is deregulated in Texas; natural gas is deregulated in Georgia. Ignite/Stream continues to live up to (and even surpass) the hopes of its founders.
