I cannot say enough about SubTropolis Storage. The were very professional from day one when I spoke with John Keeney. I knew I was going to be one of those pain in the you know what renters because I was actually storing 3 vehicles I was trying to sell. I was always greeted cheerfully and encouraging by Mr. Keeney, Mr. Sparks, Mr. Landers, and Mr. Donius...they got quite used to seeing me come and go with my hopes of selling the vehicles. One time I was waiting there for three hours for a possible buyer, and was treated so kindly that it actually made the time pass a little faster. I even had to come in on a Saturday to clean out one vehicle and remove some signage and they did not rush me...even told me that I would have a little more time because they were waiting on a boat drop off where the owners had run behind on time. How nice was that? I got what I needed to get done completed...and left feeling good, un-rushed and ended up getting more done than I thought I would.

Also because if how much time I have actually had to spend there...I got a sneek peek into another side of the inner workings of the place and was impressed. All of the men take such a pride in caring for every unit in that place it really surprised me. Very very careful moving boats and trailers into place and communicating with clients about concerns or problems...and even how to avoid problems.

This place is also secure, clean, fairly priced AND does NOT smell. I cannot say that about the last place I used for underground storage. I have had vehicles key-scratched at another place...Not at SubTropolis! Loved the experience and would highly recommend them to everyone.

Thank you John, Bill, Gary, and Lee for a good experience.

A++++ facility

I have stored my personal watercrafts and boats in thier faciltiy for the last three years. Excellent service, excellent security, excellent facility. The area is clean, climate controlled and very secure. If you have ever rented from a storage facility, you know how important these three factors are. Call John Keeney the manager and he will take care of you. The rates are very reasonable. Call now as the space will fill up fast.

Our third winter at SubTropolis Storage

We just put our 24' boat back into storage for the winter. It is our third winter storing it at SubTropolis. We are very pleased with the excellent care they offer for our boat. The manager suggestd we leave the cover off(very wet inside) and come back in a week or so to put the cover on. They even offer a work day to do this. We felt we were treated fairly and equitably with a professional, friendly staff, and tight security. The price was right and we signed up for six months and got a free extra month. I recommend it-safe, secure, and we never have to winterize it.

Good place to store

I hadn't thought much about underground storage-heard stories about musty and dirty. Found this place on the Internet and took a tour. I was surprised about how clean it was, and the temperature stays constant. Not musty or dirty like the other place I looked at. The staff was very helpful, they will assist me in parking it and suggested I leave the cover off a few days to let it dry out. Good rates also.

Deployed and stored my SUV

I was deployed to Iraq and found this place. They gave me a nice military discount and kept good care of my SUV. They started it up once a month and it was as clean as the day I put it in. Very clean, dry, and safe from the weather and theft. Good professional staff and very friendly. I recommended it to a buddy and he also liked it.

Very pleased with our storage

We have stored our boat in the garage for several years and decided to store it elsewhere. My wife was tired of the expense of winterizing it each fall and scraping car windows in the winter.The storage places we visited could not handle the boat heigth and trailer width, unless we wanted to spend $255 to $302 a month for a wide door. I mentioned this to a friend at work and he said to check out the underground facilities in the area. We found several undergrounds and toured them all before deciding on SubTropolis Storage. Their price is not the lowest ($75.00 a month)but we felt the most comfortable with their tight security, cleanliness, 65 degree temperature year round, and professional staff. They help us park it, have it ready when we call ahead and the facility is very clean and well lighted. It doesn't smell like a musty cave, like some of the others we visited, and feel our boat is as safe as if it was in the garage.

Over-the-top nice!

SubTropolis Storage is by far the nicest place we have ever stored our RV. The staff went out of their way and let us get our RV out past the normal working hours. The guys were great. We will keep our RV there every winter.
