Everyone is friendly and the actual workers seem to be very hard working people and the actual work when completed is quite good. However, once you sign a contract and request the work to be started, they'll pretty much forget about you or try to avoid minor things by claiming "we can't do it" or "do you really want it?" which is totally different song and dance than when they came to quote "sure we can do that". The work schedule will keep slipping to the right and good luck trying to get any answers from the owner, if you have additional questions later. Of course, he has cell phone like everyone else, but he'll not give out the number and the answering service sucks. My recommendation is get the cell phone number, insist everything in writing, and be prepared for being a major pain in the ****, because that's how you'll look to them and feel like one.
