Let me first say that I am sorry you lost your job and have been out of work. May I say to your review that was so critical of us that we are nothing but honest straightforward and upright people at Sutton heating and cooling. When you called us asking us to check your AC and that you had no money I said we will check it out and you can pay me when you can what you can. The problem we found was an fan relay on the control board that was intermittently sticking open. This will not allow the fan to come on when you ask for cooling. We gave you a price on the board that is competitive in our marketplace. Also if you recall that I required no money down and you could make payments when you could neighbor how much you could. I worked with you extremely generously. Keep in mind when you see a control board on the Internet that you really don't know who you're buying it from, when it's an emergency you got to have it locally and when there's a warranty I have found there is no support. We are not shysters as you claim but we would dearly love to have your business and work with you now and in the future. The control board was damaged by water leaking from the new roof that you put on right down the flu to the board. The rust around the control board indicates that this is been going on for sometime now. Please give us a call at 777 heat and we will come back out and gladly take care of this issue. Provided by YP.comUnfortunately, our experiences with this business have been nothing short of a nightmare. Two very expensive repairs left us with a furnace that still doesn't work, and we were threatened with a lawsuit when I tried to complain. We are out a lot of money and have a cold house, thanks to Sutton.

On August 29, 2019 Sutton Heating came out to look at our mini split that would not work. According to our Ring Doorbell which recorded their arrival and departure, the technician was here for 1 hr and 10 minutes. He repaired nothing and said I needed to replace a wire in the wall. He left. After a week, when I had not heard from them, I phoned someone else and left a message on their machine that I was going to use someone else. The next day I received a bill from them for $395.95. The office had insisted on me giving them a credit card number before they would come out, so when the bill came, they had already deducted the $395.95 from my debit account. When I called to complain, the man hung up on me.

I had an emergency and these crooks took advantage of me and overcharged me so much I am embarrassed.
I price checked after the fact.
My bad.
They totally ripped me off.
How can they sleep at night when they rob people in trouble during the day?

Provided by YPmobileThis guy is not honest. He price gouges and he takes advantage of people. He extremely overcharged for something simple and the repairman was left to defend his bosses choices, he knew it was wrong and apologized.

Provided by YPmobileDoes this seem fair to you? I feel like I was robbed. The power went out and the pilot light wouldn't restart. I went through instructions on the furnace and googled for help but nothing was working. I have changed parts on this thing before without a manual, I'm not helpless but I fell helpless now. First of all, I mentioned being worried about the charge to the man on the phone and his response was "don't worry, you called us and we will be there and take care of you" (ok, nice trick) Second, I told him all of the things I had tried to do to get it going and not once did he offer the fact that there is a reset button on the side of the furnace that I could try. (Thanks for letting a house full of kids and nana freeze for two hours waiting for him to show up for something I easily could have done myself). He was here for 15 minutes, he walked in, hit the reset button and then argued on the phone with his boss over the charge for the remainder of the visit. The $50 travel charge when they both mentioned that he was already in the area? A diagnostic charge when they knew damn well what the problem was? I've yelled but mostly cried today over this. I will NEVER call Sutton Heating again.

Provided by YP.comStay away from this shyster! They destroyed my circuit board, then wanted to charge me $800 to fix the thing saying the board itself was almost $600. Found the board online for $124!!
