Excellent group of guys to work with. They go above and beyond for their customers and really care about what they're doing. I couldn't be happier with their work and will be calling them again for future projects.

Rick and Tom and the entire team at T&R Contracting did an amazing job on our powder room project in Collingswood.



We had great communication along the way and the work was completed in 8 business days as promised.

Stop shopping and hire this company immediately. My wife hired them to remodel a bathroom, and she only had 5 days for them to get it done before she had to go back to school after summer break. These guys do EVERYTHING they tell you they are going to do. They are fast, polite, and professional. In only 5 days, they took the bathroom all the way down to the studs and installed new: drywall, concrete backerboard, wainscoting, medicine cabinet, lighting, vent fan, concrete subfloor, tub, marble flooring and subway bath tiles. T and R Contracting not only did a beautiful job on our kitchen, they were right on budget, extremely communicative and completed the job in half of the time that other contractors quoted us. People say that of cost, time and quality you typically have to sacrifice one and I can say that is definitely not the case with T and R. They are awesome! We will probably never use another contractor again.

We are very pleased with T and R: Tom, Rick, Tom, Joe. They were very respectful of our house and our wishes and did an excellent job. We hired them to renovate 2 bathrooms and put hardwood floors in 2 rooms. They take pride in their work, are very honest and conscientious, and pay attention to the details.



Since they have finished the work, I have received nothing but compliments on the bathrooms. They had to take 2 bathrooms from the mid-80s, which had carpets on the floors, to the modern era! They built a whole new shower from the ground up with expensive tile and especially very expensive glass tile. This is an important point to make that the kind of tile that I had bought required very precise work in design, alignment, etc. They also did demo work, moisture proofing, roof flashing, moving toilets, adding recessed lighting and a whole host of other things. And they completed all tasks well.



One of my bathroom mirrors was damaged by the store on their last day of the project. And I wasn't sure if they'd come back to install it when I got a new one. But they came, like they said they would, and even did some other minor adjustments and tweaks to the bathroom not related to the mirror without any issue.



They took the time to do everything well. They did not try to cut corners and rush to their next job. They even called on the days that we had terrible storms to say they wouldn't come because walking back and forth into the house in the storm could ruin our existing floors and ruin the materials and supplies!



Their pricing was fair. We got a number of estimates before we started the work. While these guys are not the cheapest, they are not the most expensive either. We felt that they were fairly priced. For the amount paid, they delivered value. Their estimate was very thorough and detailed and they were not pushy about adding unnecessary work to the estimate. In fact, they gave good advice on several occassions on how we could save money.



All in all - a good talented crew. We are planning to use them again as we continue with our renovation projects.

This was a great experience from start to finish. Tom, Rick and Joe were all great - on time every day, project was on-time and on budget. Loved the work they did. Best experience I have ever had with a contractor.

I feel very lucky having T&R Contracting remodel my condo. The fact that I came across them is also nothing short of luck. I’ve never dealt with construction contractors before, so I used the Yellow Pages as the starting point to find and screen businesses. T&R came up as the most highly rated contractor in my area of South Jersey – all posted reviews were very positive, and some of them even raving. After I met with Rick Stockton in person to discuss plans for redoing my apartment, my mind was pretty much made up even before I saw the quotes from him and other contractors. Rick’s ideas for what can be done with my place and how to accomplish it paled the competition. Rick’s apparent knowledge of his trade, his observant eyes and his personable demeanor, all taken together, made a very positive impression to me. I was simply left with a feeling that I can trust him and his partners, and trust is the key part of this operation.



Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about Rick, Tom and Pat. First of all they are great people to work with – always polite, courteous, respectful, accommodating and above all honest. I never had any problems reaching them by phone or e-mail in case I had questions or concerns to be addressed. Second, they have a great work ethic – once they started working on my project, they were totally committed to it. So, if you are one of those people who are worried about the timely progress of work and want to visit your property every day to make sure that it is, this would not be the case with T&R Contracting – no micro-management is necessary here. They work diligently and efficiently, and I was there on several occasions to see their teamwork in action. They don’t cut corners, and since I am a difficult customer to please, the quality of their work will meet everyone’s standards.



My entire condo was gutted and totally remodeled in one month, and it looks absolutely fabulous. It is simply amazing how much was accomplished in that time! This simply wouldn’t be possible without T&R’s expertise, dedication and hard work. Thank you so much!



The bottom line is that if you are looking for a high quality and trustworthy general contractor in Philly/South Jersey, T&R Contracting should be your top choice. If I had to do this all over again, I would be speed dialing Tom and Rick.

Tom and Rick were recommended by a work friend that has used them for numerous projects done on her older home. It started with a garage door and bathroom re-do. Tom and Rick offerred design and material ideas (exactly what we needed), they even helped us from making a mistake with tile combinations. They did a fantastic job! We changed things along the way and they just "rolled" with it. They never complained or over charged us. They did most of the work while we were not at home and they were extremely responsible with our animals and home. They kept in contact with us by taking our calls at night and on the weekends. My husband and I already have our Spring project list which includes a complete re-do in our backy yard. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Thanks to Rich and Tom I now have the 5 star bathroom that I have always wanted. They are the most punctual, courteous, hard workers, fair contractors that I have ever come upon. Rich had Wonderful ideas. Thank you Rich and Tom for a job well done, I couldn't be happier.

We are not the type of people to take surveys or write ratings. We had such a wonderful experience working with T and R contracting that I felt the need to let as many people know as possible.

Its hard letting a stranger come into your home and trusting them to do a good job the right way, without you having a clue what’s going on or what their talking about.

These guys put all my worries to rest! Our basement looks WONDERFUL! Our favorite part is the 2nd bathroom they put in. Their pricing was competitive, they were never late, and put up with our constant questions, without one hint of annoyance.

These are definitely our “go to guys”. Thanks so much!! You will be hearing from us again!

These guys are phenomenal! They are respectful, courteous, timely, conscientious and they are just really nice guys, HONEST as well. Not only are they concerned with doing the job RIGHT they also are personable and able to work within your parameters. They also are very affordable, they won;t gouge you like some contractors will.

I would recomment Tom and Rick to anyone and everyone for just about any contracting and renovation job.

These guys are great! They work fast and its great quality, real nice and polite and very honest. I don't think I would be able to say a bad thing about them. They repaired my rotted deck and made a great patio. The entire time they were concerned about my safety and the quality of work they were doing. They were also great with my pets.

I was a bit reluctant about using a contractor that wasn't referred, but I took a chance and used the YP. When I read all the reviews for T&R Contracting I assumed my job would be too small for them or they would be totally booked for the year, well you know what they say about assumptions.... All the reviews about Tom & Rick are true!!! They are awesome!!! I'm so glad to see that for young men they have an excellent work ethic, personable demeanor. and are definitely knowledgeable in their craft. They scheduled me for an estimate within two days of my call and within four days they were gutting my bathroom. They worked very well together and at the end of each day cleaned up everything!!! Tom and Rick insulated my attic, replaced windows and my front door. They were a pleasure to deal with. The work was completed in a timely manner and they went the extra mile to make sure I had an excellent finished product. I would certainly recommend them and call them back to my home in the future.

Tom and Rick were the best I could have hoped for in contractors our first major home improvement job. My wife and I wanted to open the layout in our new home by opening a wall between our living room and family room. The wall turned out to be load bearing and after quoting with a few contractors the job quickly became larger than we expected. We also needed paint in 5 rooms and bamboo floors put in. I am so happy I read these reviews and called T&R. They were are all true. These guys were great! They were responsible enough to pull permit on the job when others didn't want to. They are hard working, creative, detail oriented, neat, prompt, friendly, and responsive! Not to mention they were by far the cheapest quote of 4 different contractors, and they work FAST. They are perfectionists in the best way and are genuinly eager to please their customers. My only regret is that we could not get the custom materials fast enought to keep up with thier work pace. We did not expect them to work so quickly. I will be calling them back as soon as I am ready to redo my basement.

Tom and Rick framed out my basement which i'm converting into a recording studio. They were very helpful and did an excellent job. This job was very specific and detailed because it had to account for all the sound proofing and sound isolation that would be required. They were able to work quickly and adapt to last minute changes that I made to the plans.

We gutted our kitchen and T & R installed a diagonal tile floor with inserts in what seemed to be record time without sacrificing professional results. The cabinet installation took one day and was equally flawless. If you want contractors you can trust to be there when they say they will and get the job done right, T&R is your team! Expert sofit rebuilding and moldings put the finishing touches on a beautiful job that everyone is raving about. We will definitely keep them in mind for future jobs.
