Provided by YP.comThey installed an Attic fan last year on the roof of my house on 7/1/2008, with a one year parts and labor warranty I was told, this year my wife noticed that when she turns the master bedroom closet light on the fan come on and goes off when you turn the light switch off, I checked it and she was right, I called T.F.B. Electric and the following is a chronology of the events:
1. Called on 5/2/2009 and I was told that they will give me a call within the week, which they never did.
2. Called again on 5/9/2009, and I was told the same thing that they will surely call me in the next few days after they pull my work order.
3. Called again on 5/11/2009 and no one answered the phone, so I left a message with my name, phone number and a brief message stating my problem, they never returned my call.
4. Called again on 5/13/2009, and they said that they do not keep work orders for attic fans only for ceiling fans, and that I have to find my copy of the work order and call them back.
5. Called again on 5/15/2009, and informed the person that I found the work order copy, and reminded him of the Attic fan and that it is still under warranty since it was installed on 7/1/2008, he said the following to me:
A. He has to see if they are going to be in the area first, then he will give a call.
B. He claims that I was calling the wrong number all this time and this is only 2nd time he speaking to me.
C. He is not going to make a special trip just for me, and that he has to see if there are other work in the area, then he will come.
D. He further said that I will have to wait until he calls me, and not to call again since him surely going to call me.
I said to him: I only live 4 miles away from you, you are in Doylestown and I am in Dublin, I also said that why give a warranty if you can not honor it, this is a misrepresentation of work, I will have to report this to the BBB and then he threatened me by saying that “if you do that then I will never come and fix you Attic fan”
