We were flooded out during Hurricane Sandy, living 2 blocks from the beach in Point Pleasant, and had almost 2’ of water above the first floor. Everything had to be ripped out including the duct work in the crawl space which was a muddy mess. The heating company couldn’t put in new ducts until the crawl was dry and cleaned up. For almost 2 weeks it wouldn’t dry out with puddles of water all over. I contacted The Bob’s basement waterproofing and they were out in one day to look over the situation. They recommended a few trenches with perforated pipe and rock, correct sloping/grading, and to re-do a rather useless sump pump with a better unit, again with a correct slope and rock all in the crawl space. Explaining I had to work quickly for the heating contractor, they came out on a weekend in a couple of days to do this heavy work! Considering the problems we have been having at the shore getting contractors, I was impressed. The work was completed in 2 days, the crawl space is now dry, and looks a lot better. The heating contractor was able to come out the next day.

I can’t recommend this company more highly! They were quick, reasonable, trustworthy, and very knowledgeable about the crawl space conditions we have at the shore. I have been pitched in the past by several contractors who are quick to present expensive, extensive, and questionable solutions to the problem. The “Bob’s” was exactly what I needed in a very stressful post storm situation. If you have similar problems that you have been ignoring for years as I did, don’t hesitate to contact this company.
