Provided by YP.comALERT! These people are extortionists. They ruined my friends wedding by setting her up to owe them more and more money just days before her wedding, and demanding more money on the day of the wedding; and this was on top of their hefty deposit they already had plus the rental fees. I'm a fifteen year veteran of major events planning, having worked throughout the US and so I knew what to ask, things like: when can we get into decorate? How long do we have to decorate? What can we do and cannot do in the reception hall? What do you provide and what do we need, such as ladders etc...? All answer where reasonable and acceptable but when it came time to decorate, I repeated the questions based on the time availability of the people who would be doing the work and everything was fine and set to go until we showed up and then the guy said he didn't have ladders to hang the stuff in the middle of the dance floor. Then the guys wife, who I had never seen or met, came out and said we couldn't be there at all and we had to leave and come back the next day because they were not ready for us. (This is a open outdoor all wood barn with freezers and BBQ pit), and she could only tell us that she had to sweep the floor. We said we'd sweep ourselves and set out the tables and chairs-which was in the written contract for them to do-if we could come back the next day. When we came back the next day, just me and the bride, to decorate because all the help was not available the next day, she then had all these rules about not hanging stuff in the air. Can you imagine an event place where you can't hang anything up in a barn? All the decor money that went into a beautiful design I did for the couple was wasted. But the owners wife said if we came early the next day for the 1 1/2 hour wedding rehearsal and we hung things up with ties and not stables or nails we could hang stuff up, but when we came two hours early to put up the tables and chairs and dress them and setup the food area, we only got the tables half done before the rehearsal started. After it ended, we had all the bridesmaids and groomsmen to help and went back to finish hanging what little we could get done when the owner came out and said we had to leave, (It was weird that we never saw them at the same time and they always denied that their partner said anything to them). We had just got started on hanging some stringy stuff up in the rafters, (We just started and it looked as bad as it sounds), then the guy showed up and said we had to leave immediately or he would charge us $300 an hour over time. He also said the he was going to be nice and only charge $100 for each of the extra hours that we had used that week to decorate and that they had to bring the money the next day. We never decorated those other days, when we started they came and said we had to leave, but that was going to be $200 bucks just for showing up when they said we could. The next day, the day of the wedding, I had to rush over there one hour before the wedding started and finish the tables that needed to have flowers and colored water with floating candles, bottles of wine, and the cake table and candy all over the tables and on and on.... Well most stuff didn't get done, even when though the guests jumped in to help. The place was presentable but nothing like what was planned. The party ended three hours early because everyone was tired and the place had to be cleaned up or they would charge them $300 and hour for any overtime. What a nightmare. These people are awful and should be put out of business.
