I wanted my chimney cleaned, so I call The Chimney Doctor. I was pretty sure my chimney was clogged at the top and my pellet stove had quit working. This business is being transferred to Pete's Pellet Stove, Service and Repair. Pete told me my pellet stove wasn't working so there was no point in cleaning my chimney. However, he was willing to haul my pellet stove to Payette and do repairs on it and get it working. I told them no, my husband could repair the pellet stove, I just wanted my chimney cleaned. He told me to stick a leaf blower up the pipe. That's all they'd do and they left, no charge, no clean chimney. So, despite my misgivings of scaling our roof which is a pretty steep pitch, I threw a rope over the top, my husband tied me off and up I went. Once we cleaned the impacted bird's nest out of the chimney pipe . . . the pellet stove lit up like a champ.
