Top Hat Screen Repair and Rescreens

Very unpersonable person.. I made a phone call and instead of being greeted with a "Hello this is (business name) how may I help you," I was greeted by a perosn with a robotic voice saying "Top Hat Screen," "Top Hat Screen," "Top Hat Screen". It was so unfriendly & so robotic that I assumed that I was talking to an answering machine. So I waited a few seconds for the beep to confirm that it was indeed an answering machine. After 5 seconds, he repeated "Hello? Top Hat Screen." I apologized to the gentleman for thinking that his voice was an answering machine, he answered with: "What do you need?"



It was at this point where he lost my business.



I told him that my home was in Loxahatchee and that my dogs had knocked the pool screen out of the pool door and needed it rescreened, and this is what he said:



"OK, THERE'S A HOME DEPOT NEAR YOU, GO THERE, PICK UP THE MATERIALS THAT YOU NEED AND REPAIR IT YOURSELF BECAUSE I MEAN NO ONE IS GOING TO TRAVEL ALL THE WAAAAY OUT TO LOXAHATCHEE TO REPAIR YOUR SCREEN DOOR BECAUSE ITS NOT WORTH IT.



I was shocked, I mean I know that customer service in our day and age is dead, but this flat out made me sick. In this harsh economic climate, I don't think it's wise to burn every bridge you can, at least no on purpose.



Avoid this fly-by-night at all costs, but if you do decide to call, don't say I didn't warn you.
