EXCELLENT QUALITY, PORTIONS.

Want Cuban food without travelling to Tampa or Miami or Habana? Just come to Clermont and visit Troy's Cuban Deli. Very traditional, normal Cuban food in a deli environment. The quality and portions are excellent. Troy controls the kitchen and the consistency and quality show through.

I got the plate of the day which for me today was shredded pork with white beans, white rice, and plantains. They have the plantain thing DOWN. Done with a bit of carmelization and minimal other distraction. The white beans are more of a mix up (compared to the traditional black/red) which makes them a good choice if available.

They have some seriously good bakery items too which I rarely add to our platters but it puts the take out/take home into "way to go honey" territory with the family.

There are places like this in the area but this one is actually unique. I love that they a lot of great people working in here, they are like a big family.

I went to Troy's and had their Cuban sandwich and my husband had rice, black beans and "boliche". The food was well seasoned, authentic Cuban and just overall great! The employees were nice and attentive, Troy himself was there and was a very easy-going person and even talked with us for a while. The prices are extremely affordable for the quality and amount of food they give you, one plate could've easily fed both of us!
