On September 8, 2012, United Service Systems of South Florida responded to an Old Republic home warranty service call to repair a condo air conditioning unit. The technician, going by the name of “Frank”(no last name or address annotated on business card provided…) insisted that I pay him $50 above the home warranty deductible in cash for service that he stated was required but not covered by the home warranty. Old Republic later verified that the entire service call was covered by the home warranty and that no additional charges should have been requested. “Frank” would not accept a credit card and, after I stated that I would not pay in cash, he offered to accept a check as long as I made the $50 check payable to “cash.” When I refused to write the check payable to “cash,” he grew impatient and reluctantly allowed me to provide a check payable to United Service Systems of South Florida. Old Republic then instructed “Frank” to return the check to me that same day. Neither Frank nor his company returned the check. Further investigation revealed that the Better Business Bureau assigns a grade of "F" to the company, which has neglected to respond to each of its registered complaints.

I do not usually write reviews, but I hope that this will help someone to not have to deal with this company. We had issues with our fridge, and our home warranty company sent the work order to them. Like others have said, it took so long to get someone to come out. Once they figured out what the problems were and they parts they needed, it took almost three weeks for them to come back to fix it. And the problems were not entirely fixed. I wish it were not the case, but I do not recommend them.

HORRIBLE in every possible way!! They are a nightmare to deal with. They do not show up, dont return calls, they overcharge and do not stand by their work.

Came out and replaced a compressor with a used compressor which only lasted a month, and then never followed through on the replacement.



RUN AS FAST AS POSSIBLE FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!

They are CROOKS

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They were assigned to me by my warranty company. They came and took my $45 service fee. They didn't do anything and never came back. The only contact I could make was when I contacted them. They never followed up or did anything they said they would. TERRIBLE service! (no service at all!)

Beware! After scheduling multiple appointments- I could not get anyone to actually show up and service my air conditioning. I tried for a week. Finally had to have my warranty company re-assign the work order.
