Established and incorporated in 1982, Valley Electric was founded by Patti and Ernie Ward. The company is based in Mount Vernon, Wash. It has grown to serve the Northwest with particular emphasis in the states of Washington and Oregon. Valley Electric is a woman-owned contractor. In 1994, Valley Electric Company earned the distinction of becoming the first woman-owned electrical contractor to successfully graduate from Washington State s women's business enterprise/minority business enterprise certification program.
