Provided by YP.comI'm attaching an e-mail that I sent to Amit, the business owner, that outlines just how dishonest he is. I've tried calling him a couple times in the past month, and when he hung up on me this past week, I decided to let everyone know what a lousy business this is. Here is the e-mail:
Amit,
Once again, thank you for the opportunity to speak with you a couple weeks ago about possible employment with your company, Valley Lifestyles. As you know, we agreed that Valley Lifestyles would help pay for half of my airline ticket up to Utah so that we could talk face to face. I was able to find a round trip ticket according to the information below:
Fare Details: ABQ DL SLC172.09Q0NBVX DL ABQ80.93TP07ABV9 USD253.02END ZP ABQS
LC XT AY 5.00 XF 7.50 ABQ3SLC4.5
Fare: 253.02 USD Form of Payment AX
Tax: 12.50 XT
Tax: 18.98 US
Tax: 7.00 ZP
Total: 291.50 USD
According to the above information, the check that Valley Lifestyles owes to me is for the amount of $145.75. When we met on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, I gave you the receipt for my airfare and you agreed to send the check as soon as possible to my home address at 49********************. In fact, you said to me that by the time I was in the air to go back home, the check would be waiting for me.
After arriving back in Albuquerque, I called you and informed you that I had decided to work for another company. During the phone call, you assured me that the check for my airfare had, in fact, been mailed. The next week (the week starting with April 13th), you called me and asked if I might reconsider my decision and come work with Valley Lifestyles. I explained my reasoning for choosing another company and then you assured me yet again that the check for half of my airfare was coming in the mail. On Friday, April 18, 2008, I decided to call and just verify that you had the correct address because I still had not received the check from Valley Lifestyles. You assured me that you had the correct address and that the check had been mailed.
Now it is April 25, 2008, and I still have not received any check from Valley Lifestyles. My family and I will be moving to Utah on Wednesday April 30th, so if the check has yet to be mailed, please do NOT send the check to the Albuquerque address. My parents own a home in Orem where I can collect mail and if the check has yet to be mailed, please send the check to:

Orem, UT 84097
You have assured me on three separate occasions that the check had been mailed to me, but I have yet to see the check in my hands. If, by chance, the check was lost by the postal service, please stop the check and then send another check to the Utah address above (it might be a good idea to send it using certified mail). Please also note that I have several e-mails from you and two separate voicemail message recordings of you confirming my travel plans to meet with you, and of you confirming that you have mailed the check.
As a concerned business owner, I’m sure that you wouldn’t let such a small matter tarnish the image and respectability of your company. However, if I have not received the check by May 9, 2008, I will do all in my power to ensure that Valley Lifestyles keeps its word. If you have any questions or concerns, or if anything I have explained in this e-mail is unclear, please feel free to contact me by e-mail at [email protected] or on my cell phone at 5******** (I will be keeping my cell phone number for a while, even after moving to Salt Lake City). I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Regards,
Jason J****
