Lifelong fisherman, Paul Amberg began building custom rods after taking a Community Education class in rod building. The excitement of creating his own rod drew him in to participating in a more extensive rod building class. Since then, he has gone from making rods for his family to a small business owner weaving intricate designs at the base of the rods for a variety of fishermen and women. Recently, Amberg has begun designing beautiful cork handles.
