I have been a customer of Vern's for over 40 years. The last three years I have gone there I feel like an intruder. They are not friendly. When you walk in the door they don't smile or even say Hello. They don't explain theirself when they do things. I talk to them and they just stand there and give you what I call 'the dead fish look.' It doesn't appear that anyone there really likes their job. Since the original owner has retired this business has really gone downhill as far as customer service. I think I'll start shopping elsewhere.

Since 2 of the 3 reviews on here are from people that never even used Vern's, I decided to talk about my multiple experiences with them.I have literally NEVER had a single issue with Vern's. Multiple tows, car repairs, and inspections, they have handled it all perfectly. They even go out of their way to try to save you money if they think they can. They ensured I only had new parts where I absolutely needed them and used parts where I could have used parts. Saved me hundreds over the year I have been going to Vern's/

I've gotten inspections over the yearsa and they are very courteous and seem quite capable.

The driver constantly parks in our cul-de-sac where it blocks access to our private driveway. The area is publically posted as a no parking zone, yet the driver ignores it. I would never use a company that has such a disrespectful person. If that driver represents your company, shame on you for hiring such a person. Next time, he does it, the Lehi police will be called.

when i called vern to come get my jeep when it was disabled, they refused to do it. we were out 4 wheeling west of utah lake on a dirt road that i had seen cars (yes actual cars) on earlier that day. i described to them exactly where we were and what shape the dirt road was in, and they still came up with excuses as to not wanting to come and get me. my favorite quote of the conversation was "why are you making this my problem?" well needless to say i will NEVER be calling them again, regardless of the situation. the next day i called Evans & Sons Auto & Towing in salt lake city (801-975-9422) and they came out and got me with no problem. i would recommend them to anyone. fair price, reliable, speedy, and super friendly. thanks for nothing vern !
