These people are unbelievable. I had them out to fix my ice maker February 29th. This cost me $243.78. I thought a little high, but worth it? Parts, labor etc. My ice machine just stopped working out of the blue on June 28th, so I called them on Monday June 30th. The woman answering the phones, was the same woman when I called back in February, upon explaining my situation, her friendliness turned to haste, and rather rudeness. The service tech, as she describes him, came out to my house on Wed, July 2nd, took the ice maker apart, leaving parts on my counter, charged my 19 year old son $60.00 to tell him we needed a BRAND NEW ICE MAKER. He stated he did not know how much it would cost, but they would call us, and left? Upon learning this from my son, I called the number listed, and got the same RUDE woman, she stated that we were past our 90 day warranty. When I explained that it was very bad service to have charged us $60.00 for nothing(which she did not say they would do, upon my first call to her), she again said mam you had work done last march, I informed her it was February. She replied exactly. Cutting me off half way through my sentence. I finally squeezed in that I was gonna call the better business bureau, and she replied "GO AHEAD, AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX YOUR STUFF!" She then hung up on me? This was one of the most unprofessional group of people I have had the displeasure of doing business with. What a scam, I am out over $300.00, and in need of a WHOLE NEW ICE MAKER? Watch out for these people, they are in business for THEMSELVES!!! AT YOUR EXPENSE!! I HIGHLY recommend you AVOID this company!!!

MISREPRESENTED FEES

When I requested services from this company, I confirmed that the service fee of 49.00 would be credited toward the repair. The technician who was dispatched to my house by this company was from CalTex. I spoke to him on the phone while he was at my house looking at my washer. I asked him about the latch on my dryer. while he was on the phone with me he opened the dryer door and told me that he did not have the latch and that I would have to order that myself. When I received the bill I could not read my copy at all and had to have a legible one faxed to me later. Then I saw that not only did they not credit the service call fee toward the repair they charged me an additional 20.00 to open the dryer door-this literally took under 5 seconds. I spoke with the office and was told that they did not credit the servoce fee to toward the repair and that they charge an additional service fee to look at any additional appliance. I explained what I was told when I set up the appointment regarding the service fee and I also explained that the technician did not disclose to me that he would charge extra to open my dryer door. The office person offered no explanation for this at all other than stating that the first person was wrong about the service fee and yes the tech should have disclosed the additional fee to me before opening the door but that I am still responsible for the charges. I am not a happy camper and would not reccomend this company!
