Provided by YP.comAdmiral Van Lines will move your Household Goods. They are competent to move your property, however, they hire sub-contractors on both sides of the move, and they don’t hire the better contractors. They do have a claims process for the items that they break during the move, and they do break a lot, but they provide a very low quote, less than a 5th of what you actually pay for your property. You should also make sure that you are present when they weigh the moving truck. They will ensure you are not present, so you don’t know what the weight of your property is, then they can charge you what they want.
When the truck arrived at my house, I asked the Driver to weigh the truck again, he informed me that he already conducted the weigh-in, and that he would weigh again at the once empty; He weighed his truck a day later, two states away. I believe they cheated me by at least 1700 pounds. Don’t trust the company, don’t trust the drivers, don’t trust their claims adjusters, and don’t trust Admiral Van Lines. . I’m in the military, so I didn’t have a choice of who would do my move, but during my next move, it will definitely refuse Admiral Van Lines to move my property.
