Worst, most un professional company I have ever dealt with. Fitst of all tbe driver was rude and caused damage to my sisters vehicle. Secondly, they tried to get us to pay diferrent amounts multiple times. He also Told us we could pay him 100.00 to leave it, which is extortion. When we said we would pay that, he left, hitting every speedbump out of our apartments at well over posted speed limit of 5 mph, while there were children playing in the area i might add. Crooked company that I would never recommend and will be taking legal action.

West Coast Towing

West Coast towing company towed my vehicle from my sister's apartments monday afternoon. I am disabled listed driver with handicap plates listed. I noticed that my vehicle had been towed. I am a handicap person that have problems walking when it takes me at least 20 minutes to walk to my car upon my return noticed car had been towed. Wheb

I called West Coast Towing in which they informed me that the cost to get the vehicle out within a 3 hour period. that it was going to cost me $245.00. at 7:00pm The resident mantinence manager Sent all tenants a notice stating if your vehicele is towed it will be charged in which the property had agreement with this towing company which they are not HONORING THIS POLICEY and they said that it would only cost me $ 70.00 or a little more. In low of are lease agreement for the resident apt building.

I believe this is unfair business practice. I asked again and i have to ask how much for tuesday morning $145.00 for towing is a 30 day, I had to pay 175.00 I think this is outrages when a towing fee in this area is only 50.00 for a tow 3 miles away.
This is unfair charges and they are not honoring the agreement the Apartments in which they agreed only to use this company for this amount. I beleve this is not agreed on WEST COAST is in breech ot this agreement. I will contact City of Fresno to see what charges they allowed to charge by the city and file a complaint on West Coast with the BBB. I contacted the BBB
this company had already had 6 complaints and not even responed to 2 out of 6 COMPLAINTS agaist them. They were rated by the BBB the worst possible rating that any business owner could receive.
review BBB REVIEW ON THIS COMPANY.

AB 2210 Fail to comply is a misdemeanor. If the vehicle owner returns before the vehicle is removed
from the property, the towing company may only impose half
the normal towing charge. If the vehicle owner retrieves
or seeks to retrieve the vehicle within 24 hours or the
close of the next business day, he or she may only be
charged for one day of storage.

This bill makes a number of changes to statutes governing
the towing of vehicles from private property.

The photo is of owner Jeff Fetcho of West Coast Towing who REFUSES to post his business license and largely deals in CASH. Jeff unfortunately believes he understands the law for private property and Home Owners Associations. 22658.2 a towing company must be called by an OWNER (which we have been for over 10 years) and furthermore he cites that the City of Fresno or Fresno Police govern this and this is simply untrue. Our Home Owners Association has an old outdated covenant (not a law or enforceable) that they don't want cars parked overnight on the street. Turner Security has a work order from the Management company NorthStar (who is about on their way out) and this is not an OWNER. Additionally there is suppose to be a 96 hour tag of warning.

West Coast Towing kept quoting different prices and in the end charge me more and prefers cash. I believe Jeff to be dishonest and noticed that he has a STASH of signs that he gives to Homeowners Associations and Apartments thinking that a post on the entrance will suffice as a warning. All of my neighbors have had their cars towed by this scumbag and we are the owners of the property not Jeff, not Turner and not North Star, they work for us homeowners and soon that will probably all change. Jeff your days of lying, stealing and harming us is over.

Just another "leach" tow company

West Coast Towing does their best to attain agreements with apt. complexs to prey on unsuspecting citizens. Rather than getting the typical $50 - $70 local tow charge, when complexs see an unregistered vefhicle, they quickly call for it to be towed away. The tow companies get to charge approx. 3 times their usual rate plus storage fees. And to top it off when you go to pick it up, they are legally required to accept credit cards, so what do they do ? They install a 3rd party ATM to suck another $3 bucks from you. I suspect there's a nice little kickback to the security companies. I won't be using this company for any personal business..that's for sure.
