It's been a long time since I have dealt with someone so unprofessional. From our initial phone call, Scot was arrogant and short-tempered. Since my issues clearly could not be communicated over the phone, I arranged to stay home from work and meet him onsite. An hour after our appointed time, I called Scott to check his ETA, and he advised he had already been onsite, looked the gear over and left- without even bothering to ring the bell, knock on the door or call me to let me know he was here. "I turned on the generator- I figured if you were home you would come out." That would have been the case had I heard it. Trying to salvage the conversation, I asked him to help me understand his troubleshooting steps to gauge whether he overlooked the specific issue. "Everything works fine just as I thought and you have wasted my time" was his message to me. I was shaking with frustration when he hung up on me. This is my first ever negative review of a contractor.
