Run away from these people. It was a rainy night, around 10 p.m. Returning from a job in Andalusia, our son sverved to avoid debris in the road and ended up in a ditch. Passers-by called the Alabama Highway Patrol who called a wrecker. From the accident site to the ditch is approximately five miles. The charge came to $490! The receipt is clearly marked SINLE LINE WINCHING and SNATCH BLOCK. The vehicle was winched onto the bed of the truck and driven off. The $490 included a Basic Charge of $210, a mileage charge of $50, an Equipment Charge of $80, a Labor Charge of $50, a Storage Charge of $75 for three days, and a $25 charge for No Key. Don't mind someone making a reasonable profit, but they made their monthly truck payment on this one job. Again, run away from these people. There are lots of other wrecker services in town who will provide good service at a reasonable price.
