Provided by YPmobileWe had the ultimate package for over a year and always paid on time.we were going to be out of town for a few weeks but because our bill was not yet due...could not change pmt date and was told to wait for late notice and with our pmnt history there would be no problem. We woke up on the 8th of december..no phone..no cable..no internet..at 12pm we get our mail..and find our late notice from Comcast dated nov 27th, giving us till the 8th to pay...when i called to inform them that we had just gotten our notice..they said well we cant turn it back on unless you pay last and next bill...yet..i informed them that 1. They bill in advance so only dec. Was due..and 2. Although we just received the notice. ..it was still in fact..the 8th and that there are 24 hrs in a day.and that we were told to call when it arrived. .for an extension. Although the barely English speaking person saw all those facts documented. ..there was nothing anyone could do now unless we paid over 450.00 + late and reconnecting fees..when i asked to speak to a supervisor..i was flat out denied saying they were all to busy assisting other customers and they also would not be able rectify THEIR MISTAKE. When i asked which office they were located at in Georgia. .I was informed that his office was outside the continental US...So i asked if he was sharing office space with AT&T. .And he hung up on me.now..they are trying to bill us over 800.00 for services +equipment. Theyll get their equipment. ..but there is no way they are getting 4 months of service fees when the bill clearly states when our service was terminated...a local office employee. ..is about to have a customer service NIGHTMARE

Provided by YPmobileOver a week ago I thought I would try Comcast, got appointment set up from 10-12am... 1pm comes no one shows up or calls. I call they tell me they don't know why the tech never came then told me someone should call me in a few hours.. 4 hours later no call no one shows up so I call back they still have no idea then tell me they are trying to fit me in how is that when I should of been the first

Provided by YPmobileService keeps dropping. Wish I had another provider for my internet in my area. Services use to be good, as to why I stayed for a long time...but now I wish I had other choices. No longer on an unlimited plain..comcast switched to limited plans and now service seems to be slower and drops more often.

Provided by YP.comIf you have another option, I strongly encourage you to take it over Comcast. I called to have services established because it was my only option in my area and I HAD to have home internet in order to start a work from home position. The first technician came out on a Thursday to install and refused to do so because he needed a hand written letter from my landlord stating it was ok to drill holes in the wall. Ok, I get that, but at no point during my conversation to schedule the installation appointment did anyone ever tell me this. While the technician was here he messed with something on the tv which made my dish go out with my direct tv. He did nothing to fix this and just said sorry and left. Not only did I have no internet when he left but I had no tv either. I was supposed to start my new job the following Monday. The next available appointment date was not for 2 1/2 weeks. I was told that they would push my install through and someone would be out here by Sunday at the latest. I was not confident in this but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. That was my mistake. I got a n automated call that afternoon that they would be at my house the following morning between 8-10 am. At 10:30 I got another call from someone to reschedule my MISSED appointment. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was transferred 8 times. 8 TIMES!! Having to re tell my story each time and provide them with information to confirm my identity. I was finally transferred to someone in the billing department that attempted to help me. This is ironic as I didn't even have a bill yet as no service had been established. She said she was sending an email to dispatch and someone would call me back to tell me when they would be here. I did not go to my last day of work because I was under the impression the matter would be resolved that day. Nobody every called or showed. I spent the entire weekend at home....waiting....still nothing. Finally TUESDAY they came out and the technician said he didn't need to see a letter.... He did the install and left. He told me good luck with complaining as they don't care.
I had purchased a bundle that included internet, cable, and home phone because it was less than a bundle without a phone. I was told on the initial phone call that I would not need to have an actual home phone. I tried to use the services on my tv but they had to be set up with my xfinity account and in order to verify my identity I had to call them from my home phone. I was told on the customer service chat that I had to go out and buy a home phone to call them from to verify my identity. Shouldn't the phone I called them from to set up the account be enough verification? The technician didn't even install a phone line.
My experience with Comcast thus far has been nothing but SUCKTASTIC. I am tempted to move just to have another option for an internet provider. If you have another option then I strongly recommend that you take it. Don't give them your business. The technician said so himself.....they don't care
