XL Express is nothing more than a guy with a pickup truck and a trailer doing illegal tows. This guy was already caught once by the Illinois Commerece Commission and fined thousands of dollars. Before you ask for a tow ask him what type of equipment he uses and await the response. This guy is nothing but a cheat and a fraud BEWARE!!!!!

My first call to him was at about 12:30 and he said that he would be here is less than 30 minutes. An hour and ten minutes later I call him again. This time I get voice mail so I leave a message. Another hour goes by and he calls me back. Now he tells me that he had two tows ahead of me and he was on his way. I wait another half hour and call again, voice mail, again. At 3:05 I get a call from Jim's Towing asking if I need a tow to the local Chevy dealer. Confused I tell him that I was dealing with XL Xpress. I am asked how I found XL Xpress, on the web I tell him. That's when I am told that XL Xpress is just a guy with a pickup and a trailer. Since I have a van XL Xpress cannot handle it and called Jim's Towing. Jim's Towing is about an hour out from me but he said he is on his way.
