Provided by YP.comWe were out for a drive & we're on our way to Lexington from Buchanan. We were planning on finding a place to eat in Lexington when we noticed a vintage Pink Cadillac & a pink building behind it. Was going to drive pass the place, not knowing the rating of the restaurant but saw the amount of cars in the parking lot.
Walking in the door, you are overcome with the decor of the place. It's a '50's motif & absolutely brings you back to a great era. We were seated by a hostess, given menu's. The Pink Cadillac has a great, reasonably priced offerings. My wife & grandsons ordered The Elvis Burger & I order The Pulled pork Platter for only a $1 more! The food was fantastic & one of my sides was green beans... country style!!! ... delisous. We loved it all. Right down to The Oldies being played via Sirius Radio. Our server was friendly and accommodating. So many great offerings it took us a while to pick our lunch. Read the previous review. They must have walked into another alternate world cause this wasn't the place we visited. The only thing wrong with The Pink Cadillac is it isn't closer to our house!

Provided by YP.comMy experience at this restaurant was very unexpected. My guests and I had just left the Safari Park in Natural Bridge VA and saw the Pink Cadillac Diner. We walked in and the floors were dirty and there were tables that were not cleaned. We realized we needed to seat ourselves. This was accepted up front even though we were skeptical a little. The server was ok ay and somewhat nice even though she y.did not ask if we needed refills when our glasses were empty. When she brought our pieces of pie there was no room on the table to lay it. A fly constantly annoyed us. Okay we accepted it was an old sort of run down diner. Our rotisserie chicken was okay but the green beans were very unflavored. In general this was not a very flavorful meal. This was all going to be overlooked but while we were eating our table was approached by a white haired woman whose teeth were decayed and she was trying to give us fish and her mistake was not an unusual error but she took the plate back to the kitchen as she was saying "she told me table 13 ( ?) " Then she came back out with our server and fusing at her in front of guests. Then she walks toward the front as she is saying " I take food where I am told" All of that was none of our business. Then as we stood in line to pay the check my 1year old grandson was standing with his back to another middle aged woman with rotting decaying teeth. She was taking pies to her guest and as I looked at her face and she looked as though she wanted to hit him and kept going and she said "get out of my way I have to get through" She stormed past almost falling into a table. Then I made a comment to the girl who had been our server about how rude she is but still we let it pass. We had made up our minds we were not going to do business with the restaurant again but then my fiancé came out to the car after the white hair older woman had acted like she didn't know what to do but he said it took so long because she and the other woman who had been so rude were talking out about how she almost dropped her pie because of a noisy bratty boy was in her way. Continuing to talk of how he was bad and other guests hearing her. My daughter went back in and made them aware of how she did not appreciate their rudeness and how the food was not up to what we was used to. I believe in bringing these things to the manager or owners attention because it is so unethical and there are people who does have pride and class and we do not like this type of service. I have been in customer service for years and I am aware of how important it is to serve the public well. Even if your server was wanting to express her feelings about the 1 year old she needed to keep it between herself and other employees and not in front of other guests. This baby is a little baby who likes to sing a lot. It is also always good for business to get along with the guests children. Saying that in front of the guests made your employees rude and rigid. As it is known one complaint can spread to ten other possible people who could be helping your business bring money in for you.

After visiting The Pink Cadillac Fourth of July weekend (2011), it is safe to say I will never return or suggest this diner to ANYONE for the following reasons:1) This facility is NOT handicap friendly, so the walk into the diner for anyone using a cane, walker or wheelchair is not an easy task. There is also little to no 'drop-off' area in front of the diner due to being off a main road. 2) Upon entering the diner, we were ignored by several staff before WE asked if we needed to seat ourselves. At this time, we were rudely told it would be a few minutes to bus a table for such a large group. We had 6 people in our party. That is it. (I don't mind 'waiting,' but I don't think any customer should have to take the initiative to be acknowledged.) 3) While waiting to be seated, I observed a lady in management, Anne, speak extremely disrespectfully to her staff, disclosing personnel frustrations regarding one specific staff member in front of all customers standing up front or sitting

Obviously there are 2 sides to every story, but my own experience i have eaten here 2 times and i was pleased with my food each time. The bulding is an old one but it is what it is, a mom & pop roadside eatery. I did'nt have any issues with wait staff or the cleanliness of the establishment , so no body should let a few negative remarks stop them from trying this place.

I have been here on several different occasions and have found this to be a good restaurant. I don't know about during the week but weekend service and food were great.

I have been a regular customer or the Pink Cadillac Diner for years. Visiting the Restaurant, with it's famous Elvis burger, on the way to my mothers in Troutville,Va. and again on the way home. However, the place has gotten dirtier and the service( well there is no service)is terrible. On my last visit, August 18,2009, the hostess- cashier was slow to get to my party so I peeked into the dining room only to get a nasty remark about the "wait to be seated", sign. We were to be seated and she yelled at me about where I which seat I was to occupy. We then waited twenty minutes with out a sole serving us while four servers walked in and out. The tables was sticky and gooey with dirt and grime from many weeks of improper cleaning and abuse. We got up and left while the waitresses stared without a word spoken. We won't be back.
