I'll preface my review by saying I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails, which are very thin nails and use gel overlays to strengthen them so need fills every couple of weeks but insist on keeping my real nails (no tips). I'd been going to 90's Nails in the Brass Mill Ctr since it opened (early 90's) with an occasional attempt to change but always ended back there 'til I got a serious infection from being cut during a pedicure, which pushed me to try this new salon on New Haven Road across from Dunkin.
I am thrilled to have found Leilani, the staff are warm, friendly & attentive, they are Hispanic & Korean, do an amazing job & none of the "foreign language" chatter & giggling that makes you feel talked about & uncomfortable at some other salons, just obviously work-related interchanges.
I've been going there for a year and have been perfectly satisfied each time, in fact Lisa does the best job I have EVER had done and four weeks later, I have no lifting, chipping or damage. They hand-shape the cured gel with files, so there is no burning/discomfort with the "dremel tool" I have experienced elsewhere.
Yes, the prices are a little higher than most, BUT, and it's a big BUT, the gel fill includes a manicure, with hot stone massage, scented moisturizing gloves, cuticle treatment ... not the bare minimum (just nail gel) that you get at the majority of nail salons without paying for an actual manicure as well. Whilst you're sitting there you also get a complimentary back and neck massage by one of the other all-female nail technicians!
The pedicure was equally delightful; hot stone massage and instead of slicing off callouses with a razor blade, I was offered (a little extra $) a callous treatment which I highly recommend. A gel is applied, wrapped in plastic & in just a few minutes the callouses rub right away with no cutting/pain! Again a hot stone massage was included and a heated pad placed behind my back on the massage chair for the duration of the pedi.

They are honestly the best! I knew that this was a new salon but none-the-less this salon is clean and really modern. The employees are so nice and professional and caring. They made my experience amazing and the prices were very reasonable! The complimentary massage was amazing and there was a variety of colors to choose from! Will definitely be going back!
