Been a client of Dr Caves' for over a year. I had some lip injections done last year. All looked fine till the swelling went down... I turned my upper lip upward to reveal so many lumps and bumps and the gel protruding threw the skin, it was so bad I was embarrassed to smile. I went back to him right away to showed him, he denied seeing anything straight to my face. I couldn't believe it. There was no denying it.
I am not one to start confrontation so I left in hoping I could smooth it out by massaging it, which it did not work so I've been dealing with it for a year.
It has faded a little but now my upper lip is more distorted. I went back to him last week because I just couldn't take it any more.
He stated " nothing I can do, you have to go to a plastic surgeon".
Are you serious??!
There was no concern, sympathizing or even a moment of possible compensations for the year of emotional embarrassment,. There is injections that can be done to dissolve the substance but he refused to even consider it.
I am beside myself, I can't even begin to understand how someone could lack any understanding or consideration for a job they did that turned sour. I understand things go wrong, and I would of been somewhat relieved if he shown any concern what-so-ever.
I will never step foot in there again, and I highly recommend anyone to consider finding another facility that would have a bit more compassion and care for their clients.
