Honest and an expert in auto AC repairs. My only choice for this type of repair. Wish I discovered him sooner.

If you enjoy being treated like dirt then you've come to the right business!!! Just stopped in today 8-16-16 around 3:30pm (I'm the guy with the baseball cap if you're reading this review, Chuck!) for the 3rd time in 2 years. Each previous time Chuck was VERY short and rude when just trying to talk to him about one of our cars, which I took to another shop each time afterwards due to his demeanor. And sure enough it was no different this time! Though he was working on a car it gives NO ONE a right to be, again, short and rude!!! Trust me folks, there are PLENTY of other reliable and competitive a/c shops to take your car to for this repair. You wonder why I came back again? He is closer to our house than the other shops I dealt with the previous 2 times and hence I thought I would give him one last chance, which he obviously blew and OBVIOUSLY doesn't care about. So like I said, if you like being treated like dirt, go see 'ole Chuckles at Hughes Auto Air...!!!!!!!

I went to Hughes after going to Tire Kingdom in Ponte Vedra -880 A1a N, Ste 17C, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.



Tire Kingdom originally quoted a new compressor as well as freon for approx. $680.



Hughes was honest and fair and actually said that just going with a freon fill up would be fine and there was no need to get a new compressor.



Works great- I would highly recommend Hughes Auto Air Conditioning. It's first come first serve to drop off before 9am and he will triage your AC, not make any fixes until you call him back and approve. I trust him and have recommended to all my co-workers and friends.

An extremely honest man, he will always be fair, I have been to him many times and the charges are always much lower than I anticipated!!! Chuck is his name and I will not go anywhere else for AC repairs!!

My AC went out in my car. First I went to PEP Boys they wanted to charge me $1200 to fix my AC. I took my car to Hughes he estimated it will be either $70 or $200. I just planned on paying the 200. But all I needed was an adjustment. Been working ever since. If you have AC problems don't waste time just take to an expert specializing in AC's.
