Slaton High School has an enrollment of more than 400 students in grades 9 through 12. The school features a cafeteria, gymnasium, computer lab and tennis courts. It offers classes in English, math, social studies and science. Slaton High School also organizes classes in agricultural science, business management and computer studies. The school provides a range of athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, soccer, golf and cheerleading. It offers membership options for a band club, as well as a student council. In addition, the school has a library that houses a collection of books, articles, magazines, journals, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books. Slaton High School is governed by the Slaton Independent School District, which also operates elementary and middle schools.
