The building is beautiful and the ambiance is great. I wasn't very impressed with the food, but I understand that it's in the beginning stages and still working out the kinks. My issue was with the service. The waitress seemed very rushed. Not in a rude way, more like an over-worked/nervous way. When my boyfriend complained to management about something we had ordered, he was told to not worry about it. It would be taken off the bill because it would be deducted from the waitress' pay. So, not only did we leave there unimpressed with the food, we also left feeling guilty. She was a young girl who, for all we know, is saving up for college. I would think a patron at a restaurant should be able to express themselves without worrying about the employees being punished like that. No wonder why she seemed so rushed and nervous. From now on, if I want to have dinner on the waterfront, I'll stick to Waterfront Grille. I've never had a bad experience there.
