Samantha D. needs to give it a rest. World Famous has the best pizza in NB. My family and I have gone there numerous times over the last 2 years and we've never had an issue or a bad meal. The owner has always been more than nice. I highly recommend this restaurant.

World Famous Pizza and Subs (1114 Acushnet Ave, New Bedford) is so New Bedford that if you leave them a bad review they will report you to Facebook. I woke up to find a "warning" email from Facebook about a recent review I left. The only review I have left recently was on World Famous' Facebook page, which I then checked and found the review gone. I guess that's how you run a business. There's the story. My friend came over and offered to buy my girlfriend and I food and they were unfortunately the only place open at the time so we ordered online through his phone. He got a pizza, I got a BLT, she got a Turkey Club. Almost an hour after placing the order my friend gets a call asking what we wanted on the Club. We were all pretty confused because last time I knew a club sandwich came with whatever meat, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese. So he tells them what she wants on it and like another 40 minutes go by and the food finally gets here. The deliver driver was a whole other story, apparently he too couldn't follow instructions and just sat outside at 1 in the morning honking instead of calling us like we asked. She opens her sandwich to find that it is just Turkey and Bacon on Bread. So I left them a one star review stating everything I've said here, and they come back with " just so you know if you wanted specialty items on the sandwich you should have requested them when you ordered online. For one, I didn't know that lettuce,tomato, and cheese were "specialty items". I'm pretty sure lettuce, tomatoes and cheese are the building blocks of a sandwich and that a special request would be something like " please omit lettuce" or "please ADD onions". Second there was no excuse for this happening because they called to confirm and that was my response to their comment. A response that apparently was worthy of reporting me to Facebook. Unlike World Famous Pizza and Subs I am well aware that local business rely heavily on word of mouth reviews. So here is my review and I hope that you will share it with your friends and family to save them the hassle of dealing with rude incompetent people. I know for sure I'll never be ordering from them again. For the price that was spent on the "Turkey,Bacon,and Bread" sandwich I could have went to the store, bought all the items to properly make a Turkey club and made like 4 sandwiches.

Pizza was cold n was not great my sub was not toasted well done like I asked but the delivery man was nice n that is only y they got one star
