My husband and I took the CCW class from Paul & Tom. It was most informative, thorough, and insightful. We were fixated the entire time. There was some light humor which eased the tension of the serious subject to enhance bringing the message throughout the course. We will be following up with additional instruction a must for individuals wanting to feel comfortable possessing and using a firearm protectively.

You can't go wrong with Shield Defense.Tom and Paul are very knowledgeable instructors that offer an affordable and interesting class.Even after the class you can follow them online and continue to learn from them.They also offer other classes and firearm instruction.I will recommend them to anyone looking to obtain their ccw permit.

As a woman, I was somewhat intimidated at the thought of taking a CCW class. Tom and Paul made me feel at ease from the start. They were very professional, and their presentation of the material showed me that they were very knowledgeable and experienced. I will be going back for training on the range, and increasing my comfort level for carrying concealed. I highly recommend Shield Defense.

The Shield Defense CCW course, instructed by Paul and Tom, was awesome. The way they teach, with real life stories and scenarios, really drives the things they teach home. There is a lot of information that is taught, but Paul and Tom have a way of teaching that makes everything simple and fun. You leave with confidence and a strong understanding of the do’s and don’ts of handling firearms and personal protection. I took the Shield Defenses training class and found it very informative. I have done one on one training with Paul and feel confident carrying a gun. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who is looking to receive their CCW permit.

I received my CCW permit using my hunters' safety certificate. I took Tom and Paul's class because I still wasn't comfortable carrying concealed. The class was extremely informative, allowed me to actually handle a gun, and gave me confidence to start carrying concealed. I plan on contacting Shield Defense for one on one training in the near future.
