My wife and I spent $7000 having a covered deck enclosed into a sunroom and within weeks of installation the main wall started to sag and door and windows would not open/close correctly because of it. I contacted Carolina Home Exteriors and they came out to look. They told me that it was because my deck didn't have enough support under it to hold up the wall. Should that have been said before it was installed? I went under the deck and reinforced it as they told me but it didn't help very much. I contacted them countless times to assist me and they refused. I sent certified letters telling them that I was going to take them to court and contact the BBB. The Manager told me they would take me to court if I "slandered" them by writing poor reviews with BBB or others. Here I am! The product is substandard and I paid more for the thicker walls thinking it would be more stable and efficient. I'd hate to see the lesser product they offer. Please save your money and avoid these people!

I hope that other people are not treated the way my husband and I have been.I want everyone to know that I spoke to the salesman for Carolina Home Exteriors, New Bern, NC and he came out to my house and was real gungho with what can be done. Then told me verbally what it would cost to construct a Sunroom verbally. When I called him back out and then asked for a written estimate with he said, "no problem and left me with that. Days then weeks went by and I decided to call to see why we had not received an estimate. I first called the office and they told me he was not there. I then called him on his cell phone. I asked him if he had done our quote and he said, "oh yes, I am working on that right now". My thought that moment was, "sure thing". He then asked me if I was at home that day and I told him I would be in and out that if he came by he could leave the estimate in our mailbox. He then said to me, "well, I am busy too today but I will get that to you right away". I kne
