Provided by YP.comThis is my first choice in daycare. Heather is amazing and the management is awesome. I feel comfortable here and my dog Sig gets excited when we are pulling into the property. This is a great facility.

Provided by YP.comThe experience was great At first and I needed a lot of help. I got some good advice to help with jumping but one experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt like what was done was done on purpose to get a laugh. I arrived to pick up my puppy who is wild, just plain old wild. As I was trying to pay and set up my next boarding appt. my puppy was brought out. The person holding the leash kept saying mom aren't you going to say hello. Ok, first of all, she should not have been brought out until I was ready for her. Then while my back was turn talking to the person behind the counter, someone threw a ball in my direction and my puppy was turned loose. She immediately jumped up scratching my back. I commend myself because any other time I would have acted like a fool. It's ok, I'll just take my money where it's wanted. She weighs 40 lbs and is a Doberman Pinscher and a known jumper. It's a given that they knew she would jump on me. She's very strong and although I keep her nails trimmed it still hurt like hell. I tried to play it off. But I can not think of one reason they would turn the dog loose with my back turned other than to see her cause harm. I do think they believe me to be afraid of her. She is wild to no end but I have never been afraid of a dog. I won't play the race card because I'm not sure about that but I am pretty sure they wouldn't have done that to a Caucasian woman. I was upset but I chose not to cause friction. But it was just wrong, plain and simple. The next thing that bothered me is the last time I boarded her over Independence Day weekend and picked her up Monday morning, she was strange when I got her home. There was a knot on one side of her jaw, her eyes were red and oozing yellow crud and all she wanted to do was drink water when I got her home. Then she didn't urinate until late evening and it was a small amount. She didn't have a bowel movement until the next day at around 12:00pm and is was pure liquid. I've never had this problem before after boarding her. It caused me to switch kennels. When I sense a change in my dog, she's probably trying to tell me something. I'm not accusing anyone of hurting her but she was different after that weekend. I definitely think she didn't get enough water to drink. If her water source wasn't secured some way then it's a sure bet she knocked it over to play with her bowl. She's 4.5 months. That's what most puppies will do. Good luck with your search.

Provided by YP.comI called Lynaire today to see if they had an opening for the Thanksgiving holiday. I had called all the locals ones I used before and everyone was full. My vet suggested Lynaire. They were so helpful, had 1 spot open, took my credit card info. Had problems with my card and they called me immediatley to let me know. They got that fixed for me, reserved a spot for my dog and were very helpful. Then my local doggy daycare called to let me know they had an opening. Lynaire was kind enough to let me take the spot with them since they were here in Morehead, and refunded me the deposit I had made. The only reason I didn't use them was because they are 30 minutes away. But if I ever need an over night stay again, I will definitely call them, if they treat the animals half as well as they did me, I will be 100% satisfied. Thank you Heather for all you did to help me today!!

Provided by YPmobileWe just picked our dog up from the kennels yesterday. She spent two nights there. When we got home she started vomiting and had diarrhea. She has been out nearly every four hours with diarrhea since she has been home. The staff is friendly and courteous. Several employees came out to meet our dog but they all started giving her treats. Maybe they gave her way to many treats or not utilizing good heigene and then handling treats. We brought her own food but either she wouldn't eat it or they fed her some other food. We got back about as much food as we sent. Maybe it's all speculation but my dog is still not well.
