Founded in 1957, Trader Construction is a general building contractor and is located in New Bern, N.C. It provides heavy civil construction services for bidding and constructing public and private sector projects, such as highways, bridges, culverts, wastewater and industrial treatment facilities, marinas, seawalls and bulkheads. It also offers site development services that include site analysis, permitting, subsurface analysis, earthwork, streets and parking lots, sanitary sewers, storm drainage and water supply lines. Additionally, it provides engineering services, including drainage, erosion control, utility planning, geotechnical engineering and preparation of specification and estimates. The company has a staff of more than 175 people and owns a service facility of over 22,000 square feet. Trader Construction has a wide range of clients, including Army Corps of Engineers, Bosch Power Tools, Morehead City Terminal and the United States Forest Service.
