I am also disappointed with this Practice. At a yearly physical, Dr. Shambaugh NEVER had my son get off the table to check a possible curvature of the spine, or hernia. Also, after a blood test, I HAD TO CALL to get the results, after 3 wks, no one ever called, AND he did need a change in the prescription strength. Not professional enough for me. On to better places.

I love this office, both Dr Chang and shambaugh have been nothing but perfect with both my daughters for the past 8 years! No other Dr for them!

I am highly disappointed in this office. When I set up my appointment, no one made note to notify me of what insurances they accepted, and I assumed my insurance (AmeriHealth Caritas) would work as it had been accepted everywhere else I've ever been. When I arrived for my son's first check up when he was 3 days old, I had the temporary card provided by my OBGYN and was told he would be covered under my insurance for the first 30 days until I was able to get his SSN and get him set up with his own insurance. The office told me they would take my insurance information so they could send the bill to them. My son was seen a week later for another regular checkup before I switched pediatricians. I am now receiving the bills for those 2 visits because the office refuses to submit a claim to AmeriHealth because they "don't deal with them". AmeriHealth is more than willing to pay these bills, but they need to have a claim submitted. So, now I am stuck with the bills, in addition to paying for my insurance. Would've been nice to know that they weren't even going to attempt to contact my insurance company to bill them before I ever took my child there. I'm disappointed in the misinformation I was given and now I'm paying for it.
