I'm very upset with this hotel. I realized half way of my 4hr. trip home that I accidentally forgot my NOOK e-book on the bed b/c it was hidden by the covers. So I immediately called the hotel, and was told it had not been turned in yet. Well a few minutes later I get an email saying there was a purchase on the device. And there continued to be more throughout the day, all happened to be kids games. Interesting b/c as I was leaving the hotel I noticed a young hispanic boy hanging out with the cleaning ladies. So most likely whom ever he belongs to found it and gave it to him to keep him occupied. Now, I understand that it is totally my fault for leaving it, and I'm really beating myself up for it b/c it was an expensive gift & I love that thing. But I would hope that I could trust a hotel when I stay there that if I do HAPPEN to forget something by mistake (which everyone does now & again), the employees they hire would be HONEST ENOUGH to turn it in. But NO, people these days are so damn greedy & lazy, they can't work for they're own possessions. After calling the hotel back to update them on the info I received, the front desk person told me there was nothing he could do, but he would pass along a note to the manager. Well, 2 days later I have yet to receive a call, so obviously it wasn't much of a concern.
