I am very impressed with the variety and plentiful number of workout (modern equipment) machines here in this little city...the YMCA in New Braunfels can hold its almost any big city workout facility!! I highly recommend the Y. It offers more than any other exercise facility in town-- ESPECIALLY the pool which is converted to INDOOR in the cooler months (all 2 of them ha, jk).

Stay away from their classes or any extra-curricular activities that they offer. Twice now (once for swimming classes and now soccer) in both cases days and times were changed after we payed and they wouldn't give us a full refund since we couldn't attend the new times.

This place has the best locker rooms of any work out facility that I have ever been to. I have been to a bunch and have to give them a hand with this one. Not your ordinary YMCA set up.
