If I could give 0 stars I WOULD. Do not waste your time with this church. Scandal, Scandal, Scandal.
Attended 6 years. This church has caused my family heartache and I want to warn others to save their time and money. STAY AWAY.

Scandal after scandal - I have had to meet with and confront this narcissistic pastor on a number of occasions. I have never seen a more prideful, arrogant, deceitful and manipulative church leader in my life . . . and the congregation has shown their utter lack of discernment by backing this man for years.

I have been attending Renew Church for 8+ years. In that time, I have experienced great spiritual growth as well as growth in relationships - great friendships, an amazing marriage, parenting my kids more effectively. I love the worship, creative productions, children's ministry, family events, and most of all the straightforward teaching of the Word. I have been challenged to dig into the Bible for myself and develop a deeper relationship with God.

I will not uncover or say anything negative about the church but I am changing my rating only because I can not totally delete it.

Attended this church as a visit with my parents and really disliked the pastors remark about dogs & shooting them because they are just animals in making his point about financial stress. I understand that he was trying to make a point; however, he continued to drag it out and it became unnecessary. Yes, many people should not own animals because of the expense and due to the fact that there are other, more important priorities in life - like taking care of your family, as the pastor noted. Perhaps next time, just focus on beer or smoking. Maybe he was trying to be funny, but I found it unnecessary and lacking compassion. I own two dogs, whom I love very much. They love without expectation and no matter my actions towards them, always forgive and continue showing me affection. Not true can usually said for people- so perhaps compassion and love when it's not deserved is a lesson that dogs/animals can show that this church lacked.
