There was no zest in the food. Pretty dull normal. The dessert was a joke. Looked like a small frozen pecan pie from HEB and tasted like it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

My wife and I dined for New years evening.
Our server, Michelle, provided top notch excellent service throughout the evening. Both our meals of prime rib and double cut pork chops cooked to perfection. Although all staff were busy, they remained attentive. This will become a regular dining choice.

This place is very nice, beer n drinks are absolutely outrageously priced!!! Loved the band, 3 Man Front. I will continue to see that band, don't think my friends will return to this place. Too many awesome places to go, where customers are valued not ripped off. Beer was hot!!!

This place is top notch. Not floozy or anything, just GOOD food. I go there every time I am in New Braunfels, which is about every two weeks. There was a comment about how horrible Schobels is, And the only thing I have to say about that is, it must have been written by my sister, because she complains about every thing, and tries to get meals free.

It was the worse eating experience I have had in a long time. Before ordering we checked out the buffet. It had no selection what so ever. The salad bar had like 10 things on it, which included different types of pasta salad, pudding, and broccoli or cauliflower; that's it. The salad dressings were watered down and tasted horrible. So we ordered from the menu, thinking it would be better. We were wrong. Our son's grilled cheese came out on texas toast which was burnt to a crisp. The fries are deep fried so they are coated in a batter, which is exactly what they taste like, batter. Yuck. Then my husbands burger came with mayo which we asked not to have. She took it back they wiped it off and put the burger back together so sloppy. It was horrible. My mashed potatoes that came with my chicken were so cold when they got to the table. Overall a really bad experience, and would NOT recommend this to a friend.

It's nice to have a new restaurant in town. We went in the middle of the afternoon and didn't realize they have a buffet during certain hours. I think they said 11-2 and 5-9. We ordered off the menu, and they have a great snitzel that has jalepeno gravy. Portions are big, we brought home another meal. Prices were not bad at all. We'll be going back to check out the buffet.
