'Empowerment through employment'. CW Resources is a private, nonprofit vocational rehabilitation agency that provides employment and training opportunities for individuals with disabilities and the socio-economically challenged. Individuals are referred to CW from various state agencies and the company works with persons with developmental and psychiatric disabilities, injured workers, individuals with physical disabilities, those with acquired brain injury and special education students. CW serves more than 850 individuals per year with community jobs and provides work opportunities in a variety of commercial and government contracts. The company was founded in 1964 and is headquartered in New Britain, Conn. CW operates centers throughout Connecticut.
