I just got my license today and it is all because of the help of Mr. Harisson Smith who has been patient and professional. I owe it all to Wilmington Driving School and definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to learn everything from driving to safety. I am so thankful and appreciate that I chose this over other school. I made a right choice and everything paid off. :))

Wilmington Driving School is unique to other driving schools in the area in that they provide the individual guidance needed to obtain a license and to become a life-long defensive driver. The driving instructors identify your weaknesses and work with you to improve these areas.

Harrison, my instructor, is a great teacher. He will train you for both the test and real life situations while at the same time providing helpful tips that will come in handy when you start driving on your own.

In addition to providing practical training, Wilmington Driving School instructors will also get to know you and your circumstances - i.e., reservations about driving as well as any time constraints you might have; they are very flexible.

I would highly recommend Wilmington Driving School if you are seeking a great learning experience and looking to pass your driving test on your first attempt.

I could write a novel if I could. Previously to going to Wilmington Driving School, I had failed my road test three times. It was frustrating. I finally googled and my search result was Wilmington Driving School. I thank God. The patience that my instructor had on me was amazing. He explained everything well. I made a lot of mistakes, my instructor didn't give up on me. I was prepared well for my road test...and you know what, I passed. I have my license. Super excited. Wilmington Driving School is the BEST.

If you are trying to get your driver's license, whether you know how to drive or not, I would reccomend that you take several driving lessons from Wilmington Driving School. For those who know nothing about driving, you will find the most patient and responsible instructors here. I still remember the first time of my driving course, Mr. Harrison let me drive while he instructed me carefully. This was awesome because you broke "the ice" at the very beginning. After that, driving was not fearful for me.
For those who learned about driving before, there is a good possibility that you have some bad habits of driving which you might have never noticed. These instructors are professional, and they know exactly where you make a mistake. It's worth spending some time with them before you get your driver's license and run on road.

I drive from I was 17 years old , I felt 2 test because sometimes you forget how to drive like you need to drive in the test , I meet max he is very passion with a lot of experience I can tell now i'm better Driver , max do perpect job and give me all the confident then I'm need and he is very professional , now I got my license and I got a friend too!

I can't say enough about Wilmington Driving School! Having been home-schooled from first through twelfth grade, I never had the opportunity to take driver's ed classes. About three years ago, I took the test to get my permit and passed. My mom took me out driving a couple times, but I never felt confident enough to take the road test. Once my permit expired, I pushed driving to the back burner. I thought, why bother when I had already tried once and it didn't work out.
All that changed this year when a friend recommended to my mom that I try a driving school. I was skeptical at first, but knew it was time to take the leap. In April, I obtained my learner's permit once again and immediately signed up for classes with the Wilmington Driving School. I had the same instructor the entire time and was very pleased with his patience, punctuality, professionalism, and thorough manner of teaching. In just a few lessons, he was able to equip me with the skills I needed to not only pass the road test on the first try, but to be an overall safe and confident driver.
It has been a week since I obtained my driver's license, and already, I feel it has changed my life. Just knowing that I can drive myself wherever I want to go and not have to rely on others to take me or pick me up has given me a great sense of independence that at 26 years old, I didn't have before.
I don't know how long I would have waited to get my license if if it hadn't been for these classes. I highly recommend them. Thank you, Wilmington Driving School!!!!

OMGosh! My daughter and I cannot say enough great things about Harrison and Maxwell!
We highly reccommend this school for anyone, especially new never have driven before students.
They care, are helpful, understanding, wonderful, so very patient, and teach you to be a safe and smart driver.

My husband passed and he was our only driver, and she is 19, was homeschooled, so she never had any drivers training. We had someone offer to help, and did help her get her permit, but the schedules did not work out, so we needed someone else to teach her.
I called Wilmington Driving School and got the info we needed and got her started on lessons in May 2016, and her appointment for her test was in August. She drove every week day for about 3 weeks, then we had to do less cause of money issues, then we were able to start again more frequent, luckily, after a couple weeks of that. The August test was not good and no pass, she was scheduled for retest in October. We had no one to ride with her so she could get the pratice needed either, so we did more lessons. Harrison knew our story and what we had been through, and we needed to have a licensed driver to get us to where we need to go, and he went above and beyond and got her in to test twice more before her scheduled October retest, of course having to wait the required 10 days after each, sadly those were no pass as well. After the third no pass, we scheduled more lessons and he drove with her a few more days and surprised her with a pop test a week early than her scheduled retest. He said he knew she was ready even though she said she wasn't, and knew that if she wasn't expecting it that she would do great, and she passed!

I had a really wonderful experience with Wilmington Driving School.I love their services and the whole teaching technique. I truly appreciate all the lessons I got from Harrison and Maxwell. I got my license already and am so exited. I recommend this school to anybody who is looking forward to learn how to drive.

I would like to thank Wilmington driving School. It was great learning experience with Maxwell and Harrison. They focus on teaching driving as well as to be a safe and smart driver.

They helped me learning parallel parking in which I was finding very difficulty and that causes failure of my two last test. They were friendly and patient to me.

I highly recommend Wilmington Driving School to learn best driving in Delaware. They way of learning, expert advices & step to drive is really good. I took only 5 classes and cleared my road test without any difficulties. It's amazing because the way teach is really very simple.

My driving experience with Harisson was outstanding. He definitely knows his stuff. As a student, it's my job to follow my teachers directions in order to succeed, and not make a fuss about it, well that's what I did. Got my drivers license today on the first attempt. Thank you!

I registered for 2 lessons. My instructor was an hour and a half late and extremely rude. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service and when I tried explaining my frustration, the instructor was dismissive and patronizing. I would not recommend using this service if you value your time.

Due to some unfortunate events that had happened earlier in my life driving has been my absolute greatest fear!! At 35 years old I made a decision that I was ready to face this fear and after reading the other reviews I decided to reach out to Wilmington Driving School for assistance with this. The instructors were very helpful and patient with me and gave me the knowledge, and tools required not only to just past the roads test but to be a safe and confident driver. I just had my roads test 4 days ago and not only did I pass on the first try, I even nailed the parallel parking thanks to their tips!! I would like to personally thank Max, Harrison and Ezra for their time and patience with helping me conquer this fear! I can now go wherever I want to go and drive my daughters to where they need to be …something I have dreamed of doing for a very long time! Thank you again Wilmington Driving School!

First lesson went OK. Second lesson driving teacher showed up an hour late, in a bad mood, and was rude to me. Third lesson didn't show up at all, promised to come the following week, and when I left a message to schedule my call was never returned. Unreliable and unprofessional.

I am new to US and didn't know much of the driving rules. I was trained by Harrison and he is very good at that. I worked on all of his comments and got the license at first attempt. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

After reading such good reviews, I decided to take lessons with Wilmington Driving School. So far I have taken three lessons. My first lesson was wonderful and gave me the courage I needed to finally get out on the road (very first time driving) My instructor was very helpful and encouraging. My second lesson was on parallel parking, three point turn, etc. That appointment didn't go very well so I notified Harrison and he came out himself and took me to practice the very next day and an hour before my scheduled road test. I PASSED!!! They're very caring and want to see their students succeed. I wasn't an experienced driver, but Harrison helped me with the rules of the road, strategies to use when taking the road test and driving in general. I would recommend this driving school for those who have never driven, want to gain experience and want to receive their license. I will definitely be returning to Wilmington Driving School for more lessons. Thank you again Harrison!
