My eye exam went well and I felt very positive about my overall experience. I was given trial contacts to wear and a followup appointment to have them checked. They said they would text me about my appointment, but I wrote it down for my own schedule. I never received a text and when I went in they had me scheduled on a different day than I was told originally. I rescheduled and this time when I went in the Dr. wasn't there that day. I had such difficulty getting a followup appointment and I needed new contacts. I went to 800contacts to order, but they would not approve my contact order until I went in for a followup. I finally gave up and went to a different Dr. I had to pay for another eye exam, but I now have new contacts. I feel there is a lack of professionalism in the Dr. office.

Dr. Tavel in New Castle is the worst place ever to get glasses! I have insurance. I picked out glasses they wrote it up and said that will be $202. I said ok and paid it. Then they said, "They will be in in two weeks." Its now been three weeks and they still don't have them in. I understand they cant be made in an hour but a place as well known as that should figure out how to get them to the customer in less than 3 weeks. I think its ridiculous! Negative star rating!
