The company s delis feature an assortment of party trays that includes salads, appetizers, and rotisserie and fried chicken. It also offers deli meat and cheeses, including store brand Ranchers Preferred Deli meat. In addition, it offers a variety of fish and seafood that includes catfish, cod, sole, whiting, shark, mahimahi, shrimp, lobsters, crabs and scallops. Shop 'n Save operates more than 30 stores and also offers movie rentals. The company s associates participate in local school reading programs. As a primary sponsor of the Special Olympics, its employees participate in fundraising programs throughout the year. It maintains multiple stores in East Alton, Ill. Shop 'n Save is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based SUPERVALU.

Good Prices and an Excellent Bakery

Around here there is not a lot to choose from as far as supermarkets but Shop and Save has one of the best fresh cut meat departments and the bakery is the best around. Prices are not as high on many items but it depends what you are buying. The bad thing at this Shop & Save though, is you really have to look hard at the expiration dates as I have accidentally brought home expired canned and other dry goods a couple of times and this is frustrating.
