Located in New Cumberland, W.Va., Oak Glen Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school provides a variety of academic, cocurricular and extracurricular activities for students. It offers a student-centered, academic, interdisciplinary learning lab program for gifted students. Oak Glen Middle School provides advanced classes and a range of special elective courses, such as foreign languages, forensics, chess, drama and math counts. The school s academic curriculum includes art, computer applications, reading, science, technology, social studies, and health and physical education. It also operates a guidance and counseling department for parents, students and teachers. Oak Glen Middle School offers a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, swimming, cheerleading, basketball, baseball and tennis. The school is a part of Hancock County Schools.
