New Deal School District offers a K-12 curriculum to the district residents. It is located in New Deal, Texas, and was founded in 1935. It comprises elementary, middle and high schools. It has an enrollment of more than 700 students. The school district offers a wide range of subjects, including language, literature, arts, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language, music, drama and vocational courses, computer application and health and physical education. The school district in partnership with the South Plains College offers college credit for microcomputer applications and accounting courses taken at the high school. The students of the schools participate in various organizations such as the National Honor Society, science and Spanish club, band, Family Career and Community Leaders of America and Future Farmers of America. New Deal School District also offers a variety of sports activities that include football, basketball and cross country.
