Meeting House Hill School is an elementary school that enrolls more than 750 students in grades three though five. Its reading program features a balanced literacy approach and uses novels and leveled texts to instruct through shared and guided reading and literature circles. The school s academic program also offers instruction in writing, math, science, social studies, physical and health education, music, art and library skills. In addition, Meeting House Hill School offers before- and after-school programs in school band, intramurals and chorus. Its special education programs provide services for children with special needs. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising events.
