Memorial Elementary School is governed by Maine School Administrative District 15, which maintains various elementary, middle and high schools. Located in New Gloucester, Maine, Memorial Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade two. The school offers educational programs in science, social studies, art, music and physical education. It also operates a parent-teacher-student association that sponsors school visits by musicians, artists, scientists and authors, as well as contributes for field trips and theater and musical productions. The school organizes a variety of events, including science fairs, book fairs and art shows. It conducts seminars on family and educational issues and provides scholarships to graduating seniors. In addition, the school offers Title I and guidance counseling programs. Memorial Elementary School maintains special, gifted and talented education departments.
