Provided by YP.comHad my company driver in a GMC Savanna Van go in to have a headlight bulb replaced, without quoting a price, Stoops pulls the Van inside. After about 30 min. they tell the driver it will be $75.00.
This is to run the diagnostics making sure the wiring is good. And replacing the bulb. After being treated like a borrowed mule for 2.75 hours. We settled on $40.00 just to get the van back, ( without the bulb replaced). We sent driver to O'Riellys just down the road, they were courteous and sold us a bulb for $11.76 and walked outside and installed it for free in the pouring rain. Thanks Stoops!! won't be back anytime soon. Bruce Edgley Square One Transport Inc. COO

Provided by YP.comWorse place to do business..had an appointment at 7:00 fore rear shocks on an RV but they were putting me off for 3 hrs, what are appointments for . They don't follow them. I guess the little guy means nothing just big contract businesses. Will never refer them to anyone., Very bad business practices. Just for 2 rear shocks. Terrible, worthless business the should be closed down.

Provided by YP.comWe were traveling from Florida to Illinois in our Sprinter Van and the sliding door came off the track and it was completely stuck making the vehicle very dangerous to drive on the highway.
I called at 7am on July 5th and they said they couldn't guarantee they could help but they would be happy to take a look at it. They were slammed with other customers and short on employees due to it being a holiday, but they still took the time to at least take a look.
Sure enough, within 5 minutes of arriving they had fixed the problem. I cannot thank Chad in Truck Service and Eric in the Truck Body Shop enough for their help. We are now safely back on the road and we will make our business trip to Chicago on time.

Provided by YP.comWe had a problem that was misdiagnosed by another Freightliner shop. It cost us $800 and our truck broke down 200 miles away in Fort Wayne. Then another $750 to have it towed to Stoops in New Haven. They were able to fix the problem and get the truck back on the road within 24 hours. Extremely happy with the service there. I will go out of my way in the future to bring our truck there.
