A beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. . . Andrea gave me a great cut . . . reasonable rates. Recent remodeling is classy and tasteful. A great experience, highly recommend this salon.

So I like to do home experiments on my hair...dying, cutting, you name it. And normally it goes ok. But this time I hacked off my hair and it looked HORRIBLE.

I was sooo nervous to go back to a salon, the last time I went to a different salon for cutting my own bangs and needed them fixed (I never learn lol) and the lady there was SO MEAN about it and then charged me almost $20 for a bang trim. No way. So I had to try a different salon, and came across Appearances. I thought, what the hell, if it sucks I'll just not go back and that's that. Well I am SO GLAD I went to this salon! It was clean, professional, my stylist even gave me a tour of the place :)



I was so embarassed over my hairtastrophe, but my stylist Ashley was a godsend. She didn't insult me like the other salon had, she just took a look at my hair, took a look at the pictures I brought in, actually complimented my box -ye hair color, and went to work. She was so friendly, and didn't try to talk my ear off either (I'm super shy.) By the time I left my hair looked GORGEOUS and I was so relaxed! She did an AMAZING job and I was out in hardly any time. She made me feel at home and this is my new fave salon! I'm not bothering with any others! AND the prices were reasonable! Again, I'd recommend Ashley, she was great! She totally broke me of my salon-phobia!
