Andrew Menzin, MD, is an OB/GYN and oncology specialist at Northwell Health Physician Partners Gynecologic Oncology at New Hyde Park. He is also the chief of gynecologic oncology for Northwell facilities across central Long Island and Queens, and the vice chairman of academic affairs for the OB/GYN service line. Dr. Menzin has nearly three decades of experience in gynecologic oncology and academic medicine."I come from a family of doctors," he says. "Education, medicine and service to others was just part of how I grew up." Dr. Menzin treats the full spectrum of gynecologic issues, from benign conditions to all malignancies of the female reproductive system. His extensive surgical expertise includes cancer surgery, robotic surgery and complex gynecologic surgery. He's been named numerous times on the Castle Connolly Top Doctors list, and he's an avid supporter of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, which supports ovarian cancer survivors and funds research to find a cure."I have had great mentors who've inspired me along the way," says Dr. Menzin.
